Educational Qualification

  • General Stream 

Master’s Degree    in any stream, Bachelors’ Degree in Law, Bachelors’ Degree in Engineering from a recognized  university,  CA  /CFA / CS / Cost Accountant.

  • Legal Stream

Bachelor’s  Degree  in  Law from a recognized University/ Institute.

  • Information Technology Stream

Bachelor’s    Degree    in Engineering (Electrical/ Electronics /  Electronics And Communication /Information Technology / Computer Science)  OR Masters in Computers   Application OR Bachelor’s  Degree    in  any Discipline with a postgraduate qualification(minimum  2  years  duration) in  Computers  /  Information   Technology.

  • Civil Engg.Stream

Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering from a recognized University/ Institute.

  • Electrical Engg Stream

Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering from a recognized University/ Institute.

  • Research

Master’s Degree in Statistics/ Economics/Commerce/Business Administration(Finance)/Econometrics from a recognized University/ Institute

  • Official Langugae

Master’s Degree in Hindi with English as one of the subjects at Bachelor’s Degree  level  or  Master’s Degree in Sanskrit / English /Economics / Commerce with Hindi as a subject at Bachelor’s Degree level from a recognized University /Institute.


Age Limit(as on 28 Feb 2020)

Age of the candidates should not exceed 30 as on 28th Feb 2020.

The upper age limit Relaxation

SC and ST                -    5 Years

OBC                          -   3 Years

PwBD                        - 10 Years


Selection Process

The selection process is of three 3 phases.Phase 1 online examination Phase 2 Online examination and the Interview.

Phase 1 On-line examination:

This examination consists of two papers i.e Paper 1 and Paper 2,The Paper1 will be 100 marks and will be common for all the stream .It is of 1 hour uiraion with passing cut-off at 30%.The paper2 will be different for different streams and is of 100 marks with duration of  40 minutes with passing cut-off at 40%.

Phase 2 Online Examination

This examinations consists for two papers again i.e. Paper 1 and Paper 2. The Paper 1 exam is common for all with Total marks ,with duration of 1 hours and passing cut-off is 30%. The paper 2 will be be as per the relevant stream and is of 100 Marks with duration of 40 minutes and passing cut-off of 40%.


Application Fee

The Application should be paid online only.

General/OBCs/EWSs              Rs. 1000 as application cum Intimation Fee

SC/ST/PwBD                          Rs. 100 as Intimation Fee


Salary

The Salary scale for the post of officers in Grade A is Rs. 28150-1550(4)-34350-1750(7)-46600-EB 1750(4)-53600-2000(1)-55600 (17 years).


How to apply

The candidate should apply for the post through online mode only.The Candidate should do registration by visiting on SEBI's official website www.sebi.gov.in. The process of registration consists of 

1.Application Registration

2.Payment of Fees

3.Uploading of Photograph

4.Uploading Signature,Left hand Thumb Impression and Hand Writing Declaration


Selection Procedure.

The candidate should pass the phase 1 and phase 2 examination.The shortlisted candidates will called for the interview.Those passing the Interview will be selected for the post advertised and have to serve the probation period of 2 years.After successfully completing the probation period the candidates shall be confirmed in the service.


Call Letters Download

Candidates will  have to download their call letter by visiting the official website www.sebi.gov.in The candidates will be Intimated for downloading call letter through email/SMS.
