Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification
The candidate should have passed SS/10th Class (Matriculation) from
approved state boards of the respective State Govt. / Central Govt. The
candidate should have scored passing percentage in mathematics and taken
English and Local Language as compulsory
or elective subjects The Candidate passed 10th class examination with
first attempt will be considered as as meritorious against those passed taking
more attempts.
Computer Knowledge
The candidate should have completed Basic computer training of at least 60 days and have certificate for training from a recognized Computer
Training Institute. /Central Government/ State Government/ University/ Boards
etc., will be acceptable for this purpose. This requirement of basic computer
knowledge certificate shall be relax able for the candidates who
have studied computer subject in Class X or Class XII or higher
educational qualification provided the candidate should submit a certificate of
10th or 12th or higher
educational qualification where he/she has studied computer as a subject.
Residence
The candidate getting selected for the post of GDS BPM must
mandatorily accommodation for Brach Post office. after selection but before engagement as
Gramin Dak Sevak Branch Postmaster.
Knowledge of Cycling
The candidate should have knowledge of cycling which is the mandatory
condition for GDS Post. The candidate who can ride scooter or motor cycle will
be considered as knowledge of cycling. The candidate should furnish declaration
to this effect.

Selection
The candidate will be selected as per the
merit list automatically generated from online Application submission. There
shall be no weightage given to candidate having higher qualification. The marks
obtained in 10th Class Exam will be the criteria for short listing
the candidates .If more than one candidates have same marks the merit will be considered
as per Date of Birth. The older person will be shortlisted in this case.
